It is planned individually. Recovery time, scarring, and what the operation will not change are explained before you decide.
The visit looks at the jawline, the cheeks, and the neck together, because tightening one and leaving the others can look unfinished. You are shown where a scar is usually placed and how it tends to settle, and you are told what swelling and bruising look like in the first fortnight. A lift does not replace volume that has been lost, and it does not freeze expression; if filler, the brow, or the eyelids are the clearer answer, that is said before a date.
The aim is a firmer version of your face, not a different one. Healing varies from person to person.
