The device and the number of sessions are chosen only after the skin is assessed, so the plan fits your skin rather than a standard course.
Hair, pigment, and texture are not booked as one setting. A small test area is often the first step when the skin or the concern is new to the device, so the response is seen before a full course. You are told what the skin looks like in the hours after, what sun and heat to avoid, and that the number of visits is a range judged as the skin responds, not a number fixed on the first day.
Skin tone, recent sun, and the concern itself decide whether laser is suitable. That check happens in consultation.
